Social Apostolate on Stamford Hill is a first-contact help center offering immediate assistance to the homeless and vulnerable, as part of St. Ignatius Church’s mission.
Our goal is to provide a safe, compassionate environment where everyone in need can find support and dignity
For several years now, we’ve received support from our parishioners – including English-speaking, Latino, and Polish communities. Thanks to this, our outreach can help more people, becoming both more effective and diverse
Our apostolate is a social and charitable initiative dedicated to helping people facing difficult life situations
After assessing a person’s needs, we refer them to appropriate support organizations
We support people struggling with addictions and emotional problems by organizing meetings with addiction therapists
Thanks to Father Andrew Cameron-Mowat and the Consular Section, we carried out the support programme “Assistance for Poles in Homelessness Crisis and Their Needs.”
The aim of the project was to provide psychological support, help rebuild self-esteem, promote social inclusion of marginalised individuals, and encourage them to take the first steps towards change.
The initiative was co-financed by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London.
